USA-CUBA SPORTS EXPERIENCES has been arranging inter-country exchanges with Cuba since 1997. Our people to people athletic exchanges have helped to foster friendships and understanding between citizens of both countries. In 2002 USA-CUBA entered into a relationship with the WORLD AMATEUR ATHLETIC CONGRESS to expand, on a world wide basis, international sports travel.
The WORLD AMATEUR ATHLETIC CONGRESS , a not for profit corporation under IRS regulations 501(c)(3), originated out of the need to provide quality international competition in a friendlier and less structured atmosphere than which is available under other existing organizations. The working relationship between USA-CUBA and the WAAC guarantees greater opportunities for athletic exchanges between youth and adult amateur athletes in the US and the Republic of Cuba. It also hosts and arranges tournaments and clinic in other countries. The WAAC has representatives in sixteen countries.
USA-CUBA represents the WAAC in developing athletic competitions whereby US teams can both host and travel to international events. While the focus of USA-CUBA on remains on events staged with Cuba, this partnership with the WAAC will also facilitate programs staged in other countries and throughout the world.
USA-Cuba can handle any request for sports programs to Cuba and works through the WAAC for participation in other international tournaments in all sports where available.
Through an affiliated company, Robert M. Weinstein & Associates, LLC, programs for medical exchanges, exporting of goods from the US to Cuba, educational and religious travel can be arranged. Weinstein & Associates handles all of the arrangements including licensing, travel, visa, meetings and conformance with export (US) - import (Cuba) regulations. Because of our extensive relationships, we can also assist in arranging meetings for companies and individuals that want to do business with Cuba.
